Happy new year!! We’re incredibly excited for this new year, whether or not the Mayans turn out to be right (zombie apocalypse anyone?). 2011 was great for us, no doubt…but just so long. Too long. So happy 2012. This is going to be a great year.

Not sure how you’ve brought the year in, but we had to cancel plans and rang out 2011 the way we rang it in — glued to laptops, coding and customising and designing and catching up on work that’s finally under control. Not exactly rock and roll, but no one said being an indie musician was going to be easy. We did stop after 2 a.m. to watch Sleepless in Seattle and down an alarming amount of Cheetos and Martinelli’s and popcorn and egg nog and nachos. Not all at the same time but…ok. It was all at the the same time.

It’s also that time of year to talk about New Year’s Resolutions. We’ve made a few for our band — which we’ll hopefully let you know about soon. One of the resolutions is to update you guys more frequently, so in theory, if we do this right, you’ll be seeing more blog posts from us in 2012. And maybe some new songs…but more on this later.
